The SVEVA HOUSE is a flat attic in a residential building in Palermo. Before the project the house was the result of amalgamation of two units, with their access placed in two different stairwells. All inside a thick sequence of pillars and a long central corridor respect to different spaces. From plan it has been abolished an enhance, reduced the space corridor and reshaped the disposition of atmospheres. Using the system of "Chinese boxes", in the living meant as open and irregular space, has been inserted the entry, the study, the zone fireplace, the zone conversation and lunch. The spatial orientation is no longer influenced by the presence of the pillars, since al embedded inside the furniture and custom-designed fireplace. The project was developed in collaboration with Dario Gueci.
