PROJECT
The GINEVRA HOUSE is located in seafaring village of Sferracavallo in Palermo. The house is on the ground floor on one level and has a structure of blocks of limestone masonry, according to that which is the local building traditions. The vulcanic stone fireplace brushed and hammered, integrated bearing wal plug is the fulcrum around which the wheel house. The space is continuous and episodic at the same time-see the opaque glass septum, only real aperture area between day and night. All furniture designed and handcrafted are among the main actors of the intervention. We have tried to exalt the character model massive limestone walls, and the macro sized fireplace vulcanic stone which connects "vaulted space of the fireplace”. On the other hand, it is intended to highlight the Eucidean geometry through the modular combinations present in the surfaces of wood and stone and plaster panels in green, with different shades of tone and texture.
